Understanding speaker indentificaion

1 min read

Proactor.ai provides automatic speaker identification during transcription to help you easily differentiate between participants in a conversation. This feature enhances the accuracy and clarity of transcriptions, especially in meetings or group discussions.

How Speaker Identification Works

  • Automatic Detection: Proactor’s AI automatically identifies different speakers in the conversation. Each speaker is labeled as Speaker 1, Speaker 2, Speaker 3, and so on.
  • Unlimited Number of Speakers: There is no limit to the number of speakers that Proactor.ai can identify. Whether it’s a one-on-one meeting or a large group discussion, Proactor will continue identifying each speaker as long as they’re talking.
  • Display in Transcription: Speaker identification is visible in the transcription view only. Each speaker’s dialogue will be clearly tagged, making it easier to follow who said what.

Why Speaker Identification is Useful

  • Clarity in Transcription: Automatically labeling speakers ensures that the conversation is clear and easy to follow, especially during meetings with multiple participants.
  • Enhanced Collaboration: When you review the transcription later, you can quickly see each participant’s contributions, making it easier to delegate tasks or summarize key points.
  • Efficient Record-Keeping: With automatic speaker identification, you can accurately track what each speaker said without manually sorting through the conversation.

Tip: If you have a meeting with multiple people, speaker identification can save time by automatically assigning labels to speakers, leaving you to focus on the content rather than who’s speaking.
