When will my Transcription Time reset?

2 min read

Your Transcription Time are allocated based on your subscription plan, either monthly or annually. Here’s when and how they reset:

Monthly Plan:

  • Reset Schedule: Transcription Time on the monthly plan will reset at the beginning of each billing cycle. This means your minutes will refresh every month on the same date that your subscription is billed.

Yearly Plan:

  • Reset Schedule: On the yearly plan, your Transcription Time will reset at the start of each annual billing cycle. You will receive a full year’s worth of minutes, giving you the flexibility to allocate them over the course of the year.

What Happens When I Run Out of Minutes:

If you run out of your transcription minutes:

  • New Recordings: You will not be able to start new meetings until you have more transcription minutes available.
  • Ongoing Recordings: If you have an ongoing recording, you will be notified that you need to upgrade your plan. The meeting will be paused but will be retained for a period. You can manually resume the recording once new transcription minutes are available.
  • Access to Historical Data: You will still be able to view, search, and share past conversations in your history list, even if your transcription minutes are depleted.
  • Chat Function: As long as you have remaining AI Credits, you can access the chat feature at any time.

What To Do If I Run Out of Minutes:

  • If you run out of your transcription minutes before your next reset, you can either:
    1. Upgrade to a higher-tier plan to receive more minutes.
    2. Purchase Add-On Data Packs to add more minutes, which do not expire and are available for use until your next billing cycle.

Note: Data Packs are independent of your subscription plan and can be purchased at any time, providing additional transcription minutes without affecting your plan’s reset schedule. For more details, refer to What is add-on data packs and how to purchase?
